Mahindra is all set to unveil a couple of updated models and new upcoming cars at the Independence Day event tomorrow. One of these SUVs will be the new BE 6 Sporteq trim, which will offer a redesigned cabin, new features, and a new dual-tone interior theme.
What to expect from the Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq?
The BE 6 Sporteq will be a new variant or trim for the electric coupe-SUV. As seen in the latest spy shots, its interior design and layout have been enhanced by the company to offer better ergonomics and new features, along with a refreshed cabin layout.
The first and immediately noticeable change is the new triple screen setup that has been carried over from the XEV 9E. This full-width display includes three screens: a digital driver display, an HVAC control screen, and a passenger infotainment screen.
Moving on, the halo-like central console design has been removed for a more conventional one. It now features a spacious central console with twin wireless charging pads, a gearshift lever, and buttons for drive modes, electronic parking brake, ignition switch on/off, and twin cup holders.
Additionally, the new BE 6 Sporteq features a new tan-black dual-tone cabin theme with leather upholstery and soft-touch materials. The new cabin theme is elevated by the use of glossy piano black trim, including the central console and door panels.
We suspect that the new BE 6 Sporteq will also offer improved features like a new sound system, more smart wireless connected features, AI-assisted voice commands, etc. Moreover, Mahindra could also add exclusive exterior colours and new alloy wheels to segregate this specific variant from the rest.
Mechanically, it will remain unchanged. There are two battery options on the current model: 59 kWh and 79 kWh, which offer up to 682 km and 282 bhp/380 Nm. We suspect that the Sporteq trim will be based on the 79 kWh battery pack, and it will be positioned as a range-topping version.
With that said, the new BE 6 Sporteq gets revealed tomorrow. Until then, stay tuned!
