Range Rover has introduced a new Sport Twenty Edition model, which celebrates 20 years of the nameplate worldwide. The Twenty Edition gets special cosmetic tweaks to set it apart from the standard trims, and it is priced at Rs 1.90 crore (ex-showroom).
Range Rover Sport Twenty Edition: Everything to know
The new TWENTY Edition of the Sport has been inspired by the original Sport model and the concept model that were showcased 20 years ago before the ‘Sport’ made it to production. Hence, it features a new Sanguinello Orange exterior paint shade, along with the Santorini Black and Otsuni White shade options. Customers can also opt for other exterior paint shades, including the black exterior package.
The Sanguinello Orange paint shade has been specifically inspired by the Vesuvius Orange First Edition Range Rover Sport model, which made its debut two decades ago. With that said, the other change includes the special 23-inch Gloss Sparkle Silver alloy wheels, which can also be had in glossy black colour. The exterior panels also get ‘TWENTY’ badging.
On the inside, the TWENTY Edition Sport features illuminated treadplates with ‘TWENTY’ lettering. Similarly, the ‘TWENTY’ lettering can be found on the central console, which shows its exclusivity. Additionally, the cabin features Ebony Windsor leather upholstery, which has been carried forward from the SV Autobiography trim. It also features forced carbon veneers and black suede headliner cloth, which provide an exquisite interior experience.
Powering the TWENTY Edition Sport is the SV Autobiography-sourced 4.4-litre V8 twin-turbo petrol engine. This powertrain develops 529 bhp and 750 Nm, and it comes with a 4WD drivetrain as standard, along with terrain, power, and traction modes. It can sprint 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds.
The brand has commenced pre-bookings for the Sport TWENTY Edition, and deliveries are expected to commence in the coming months.
