Hyundai is all set to launch the new Bayon crossover/SUV in India on October 26. Ahead of its official launch, production cars have started reaching the dealerships across India.
A latest video that went viral shows a red coloured top-spec version of the upcoming Bayon being unloaded from a trailer truck at a dealership yard. The video gives a close, real-world look at the car, showing the design details and interior features.
2026 Hyundai Bayon: What to expect?

As seen in the spy video shared online, the specific unit of Bayon getting unloaded is a top-spec trim. The car is painted in a familiar red colour that we also get to see on the Creta and even on the Venue. The exterior gets a round-ish profile with a low-slung roofline and a wide footprint.
The exterior design also features the sleek LED lighting and Bayon lettering on the tailgate. The car also boasts rugged body cladding and dual-tone alloy wheels. Although the glossy black and silver highlights on the bumpers do give it a premium look.

The spy video also managed to show us the interior, which features a dual-tone theme. The light beige/Ivory White colour interior is matched with the black and silver highlights.
Moreover, the dashboard gets the curved connected screen and a vertical central layout with the new vertical AC vents. The latter has been carried over from the new-generation i20 that was launched a few months ago in Brazil.

The Bayon will be full on features and it will offer modern tech like the wireless charging, electric seat adjustment for the driver, front seats with ventilation, a panoramic sunroof, and Level 2 ADAS safety package. Hyundai will also offer reclining rear seats and rear AC vents for the rear passenger comfort.
Under the bonnet will be the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine that also powers the Creta. This engine will be offered with a 6-speed manual and an IVT automatic gearbox option. Online rumours also hint that a CNG powertrain could also be introduced in the future.
Hyundai will officially launch the Bayon on October 26, 2026. It will be slotted between Venue and Creta, and we suspect that it will be priced around Rs 9-18 lakh.
