Skoda’s upcoming limited-run SUV, the Kodiaq RS, has received a tremendous response from customers in India. The brand opened its bookings on June 22, 2026, and all of the allotted units were sold within 6 minutes of the commencement of the bookings.

Mind you, Skoda has allotted only 50 units of the Kodiaq RS for India, and it will be sold as a CBU model, which means that it will be priced significantly higher than the standard Kodiaq SUV.

Skoda’s RS badged cars have always found immediate buyers in India. The niche fan following for the RS-engineered models loves the driving feel of the RS cars like the Kodiaq RS.

Speaking of the changes, the Kodiaq RS packs a sporty visual appeal with the new sporty bumpers, new 20-inch alloys, RS badged grille, and new colours. On the inside, it packs a black sporty leather upholstery with red stitching, race pedals, RS steering wheel, and new sporty graphics for the driver console.

Powering the Kodiaq RS is the 2.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine sourced from the Octavia RS. This produces 261 bhp and 400 Nm. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and the Kodiaq RS gets an all-wheel drive as a standard.

The key features include wireless phone charging, electric front seats with ventilation, ADAS safety suite, panoramic sunroof, fast charging ports, a 360-degree camera, and more.

Skoda is expected to announce the prices of the Kodiaq RS in the coming days. Its deliveries will follow the price announcement shortly.
