Aprilia RS 457 GP Replica launched in Germany

Key highlights

  • Aprilia launches RS 457 GP Replica in Germany at 7,550 Euros
  • Gets MotoGP-inspired livery and standard quickshifter
  • Remains mechanically unchanged with the same 457cc twin-cylinder engine

The Aprilia RS 457 GP Replica has now been launched in Germany, priced at 7,550 Euros, which roughly translates to Rs. 8.18 lakh. This new variant sits at the top of the RS 457 lineup and brings cosmetic flair along with a few meaningful upgrades.

MotoGP inspiration is front and centre

The biggest talking point here is the design. The GP Replica variant draws clear inspiration from Aprilia’s MotoGP machines. The livery is bold, race-focused, and instantly recognizable if you follow the sport.

It even mirrors the colours seen on bikes raced by Marco Bezzecchi, including the one that took victory at the US Grand Prix.

More kit, straight from the factory

Aprilia has also added some functional upgrades. The RS 457 GP Replica comes with a bidirectional quickshifter as standard. On the regular bike, this is an optional extra. So this alone adds real value.

The German-spec version also gets improved brake pads, which should offer better bite and feel under hard braking. These are small changes on paper. But they make a difference when you are riding the bike the way it is meant to be ridden.

Same engine, same character

Mechanically, nothing changes. The bike continues with the same 457cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. It produces 47.6 bhp and 43.5 Nm of torque. Power goes to the rear wheel through a 6-speed gearbox paired with a slip-and-assist clutch.

The RS 457 already strikes a nice balance between performance and accessibility. It is quick enough to feel exciting, but not intimidating.

Premium positioning for enthusiasts

In Germany and Italy, the standard RS 457 is priced at 7,250 Euros. This GP Replica sits slightly above that, offering a more premium experience for buyers who want something special.

Interestingly, this variant is not entirely new for us. It was launched in India earlier this year at Rs. 4.37 lakh, making it more accessible to a wider audience here.
