Aston Martin has announced the fresh prices for its entire range in India with a massive price cut. Thanks to the India-UK FTA deal, Aston Martin cars have received a price cut of up to Rs 4.02 crore, which makes them substantially more “affordable” than ever before.
As per the latest prices, the Vanquish Volante, which is the brand’s range-topping model, has now been priced at Rs 6.9 crore, as opposed to Rs 10.92 crore previously. This results in a price cut of Rs 4.02 crore on the sticker price.
Meanwhile, the Vanquish Coupe is now priced at Rs 6.4 crore, as opposed to Rs 10.11 crore previously, resulting in a price cut of Rs 3.71 crore. Following is the DB12 S Volante, which has received a price cut of Rs 2.65 crore, making it priced at Rs 4.35 crore, instead of Rs 7 crore previously.
Following this, the DBX is now cheaper by Rs 2.65 crore, bringing the sticker price to Rs 4.15 crore from Rs 6.80 crore. The popular DB12 S has become cheaper by Rs 2.52 crore, making its new price Rs 4.10 crore from Rs 6.62 crore previously.
The Vantage Roadster has received a price cut of Rs 1.91 crore, which has made its new price Rs 3.35 crore from Rs 5.26 crore. The largest price cut in the entire range has been received by the entry-level Vantage S, which is now Rs 1.84 crore cheaper than before, bringing its showroom price to Rs 3.15 crore from Rs 4.99 crore.
With that said, this massive price cut is the biggest price correction that any UK-based carmaker has made after the UK-India FTA deal. As part of the treaty, imported cars from the UK are now subject to a 10 percent tax, instead of 110 percent previously. However, certain limits, such as price, engine capacity, etc., are applied to it.
