Ather Energy has joined the bandwagon of manufacturers hiking the prices of their products next year. The brand has announced that its electric scooters will become expensive soon.

Ather electric scooters’ price hike details
As per the details revealed by the Bengaluru-based EV company, it will hike the prices of its 450X and the Rizta scooters from January 1, 2026. The maximum price hike will be of Rs 3,000, depending on the variant chosen.
However, to compensate buyers, Ather has already introduced its Electric December campaign, which offers attractive discounts to new buyers. The December discount offer includes benefits of up to Rs 20,000, which includes credit card EMI discounts, a complementary eight-year extended warranty on the battery on selected models, cash incentives, and financing support options.
Speaking of the product range, Ather Energy offers two scooter models, which include the 450X range and Rizta. The 450X has been designed for young buyers who prefer technology and performance, while the Rizta model has been designed for family use purposes and offers a conventional scooter experience with an EV powertrain.
Ather’s next step is the EL scooter platform, which was showcased at the 2025 Ather Community Day. The first EL platform scooter has been homologated, and it is scheduled to be launched by the end of 2026.
