BMW Z4 Final Edition: Everything you need to know
The new Z4 Final Edition is here to celebrate the iconic legacy of the Z4 moniker that was first introduced in 2002 with the codename E85. The E85 Z4 gained immense popularity due to its fun-to-drive quotient and lovely design with the convertible roof. BMW then introduced the E89 Z4 in 2008, whilst the current-gen Z4 G29 was launched in 2018.
The brand has decided to conclude the Z4 moniker in March 2026, and to celebrate this beautiful and cheerful car, the Z4 Final Edition has been unveiled, which offers a special Satin Matte Black exterior finish with piano black gloss highlights. It also features the special M Sport brake calipers painted in red.
On the inside, the Z4 Final Edition gets a mix of black leather upholstery and Alcantara leather finish on the steering wheel, seats, and dashboard, which is further elevated by the use of high-grade brushed aluminium inserts. There are ample Final Edition highlights as well on the seats, door sills, and the centre console, along with M Sport tri-colour seatbelts.
Powering the Z4 Final Edition is the same 3.0-litre, straight-six turbo petrol engine that offers 497 bhp and 380 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an RWD setup.
With that said, the Z4 Final Edition will go on sale in January 2026, as the car gets discontinued in March 2026. Its last batch is expected to be delivered by April 2026 internationally. BMW is yet to announce whether it will launch the Z4 Final Edition in India or not.
