EICMA 2026 was particularly significant for the Indian two-wheeler market. With Indian manufacturers showcasing global products and international brands preparing new models for our market, the Milan motorcycle show offered a fairly clear picture of what enthusiasts can expect over the next year.
More than 20 motorcycles and scooters are likely to make their way to India, spanning everything from affordable roadsters and adventure bikes to premium superbikes and electric two-wheelers. Here are the most interesting ones.
BMW, Ducati and Harley-Davidson
BMW Motorrad is expected to introduce the India-made F 450 R and F 450 RR, both using the 420 cc parallel-twin engine producing 48 hp and 43 Nm. The limited-production M 1000 RS, with 218 hp from its 999 cc inline-four, could also reach India in small numbers.
Ducati has several updates lined up, including the Diavel V4, DesertX Rally and the limited-edition Panigale V4 SP and Streetfighter V4 SP. The latter two get carbon-fibre wheels, dry clutches and Öhlins electronic suspension. The Panigale V2 SP is another possible addition.
Harley-Davidson’s new X350 T is particularly interesting for India. Developed with Hero MotoCorp, it gets a smaller air/oil-cooled engine than the X440 T and could offer a more competitive entry point into the brand’s range.
Hero and Royal Enfield
Hero’s Xpulse 450 is among the most anticipated motorcycles from EICMA. It gets a new 421 cc liquid-cooled engine producing 46.7 hp and 38 Nm, along with long-travel suspension and a 7-inch TFT display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Royal Enfield showcased the Himalayan 750, Continental GT 750 and production-spec Flying Flea S6. The Himalayan 750 produces 55 hp and 63 Nm, while the GT 750 shares its 743 cc parallel-twin platform. The electric S6 gets a scrambler-style setup with 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels.
More international brands preparing for India
Honda’s updated Africa Twin 1150 and Fireblade, Italjet’s Dragster 300, 459 and 700, and Norton’s new 450 Urban are also worth watching. Italjet has confirmed its India entry through Motohaus, with a debut planned for December 2026.
Kawasaki could bring the Versys 900 and KLE650, while Triumph is preparing updated Tiger 900 and Street Triple 798 models. Vida’s UBX electric motorcycle concept also hints at Hero’s plans beyond electric scooters.
Final thoughts
EICMA 2026 has given Indian enthusiasts plenty to look forward to. The interesting shift is that India is no longer just a market for international models after their global launches. Products such as the BMW F 450 twins, Hero Xpulse 450 and Harley-Davidson X350 T underline how closely manufacturers are aligning their global strategies with Indian requirements.
