The Indian government has recently revised the GST rates for the auto industry. The new tax slabs are destined to go live from September 22. See below how your favourite cars will be affected by the new rates.

GST 2.0 effect on cars: New rates of popular hatchbacks
As per the newly revised GST rates, cars under 4-meter length and below 1,200cc (petrol) or 1,500cc (diesel) engine capacity will now be subjected to 10% less GST. Earlier, the tax was 28%, which has been brought down to 18% now. This is set to make the popular hatchbacks cheaper.
