Here are 5 popular features that Nissan Gravite misses out on

Nissan’s latest addition to its Indian portfolio is the Renault Triber-based MPV called Gravite. While the brand has launched the Gravite at an aggressive price, its top-spec variants miss out on some popular features. Check out the complete details below.

5 popular features that Nissan Gravite misses out on

1. Alloy wheels

One of the most basic and essential feature on mass market cars are the alloy wheels, which even the top-spec version of the Gravite does not offer. The top variant of the MPV is equipped with 15-inch steel rims that get dual-tone wheel covers, making it look like alloy wheels. However, the absence of alloy wheels does make the Gravite feel like an affordable mass-market MPV.

2. Electric sunroof

In the sunroof crazy market like India, not offering an electric sunroof even on the top variant is going to be a dealbreaker for a few customers. The top variant of the Gravite does not offer an electric sunroof, even as an option. However, a sunroof on an MPV is not available before Kia Carens Clavis in terms of pricing, which still makes it a reasonable cost-cutting method for Nissan.

3. No charging ports for rear rows

Another essential feature that the Gravite misses out on is the absence of charging ports on the second and third rows. An MPV that is made to ferry up to 7 people does not offer a charging facility for the passengers – this is something that will definitely mark a dent in terms of sales, as MPV customers require such basic features.

4. 360-degree camera

The top-spec variant of the Gravite is positioned at Rs 8.94 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price bracket, not offering a 360-degree camera seems like a major miss to us. Many other cars at the same price offer the 360-degree camera on their top variants, which the Gravite does justice by offering a single camera.

5. No navigation

Another popular feature that the Gravite MPV does not get, even on the top varian,t is the built-in navigation. However, customers do get the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, which further offers the navigation mirroring from phone, the absence of a built-in navigation feature becomes evident in situations where there is no device to connect or no network to use the phone’s navigation.
