Hero MotoCorp has launched a bigger battery version of the Vida VX2 Plus electric scooter. The new variant offers a 4.4 kWh battery capacity, which has increased the IDC-claimed range of the e-scooter up to 187 km.

The new 4.4 kWh battery option is positioned as the range-topping variant of the Vida VX2 Plus electric scooter. It is available at Rs 1,50,990 (ex-showroom) nationwide, and it is expected to be available in showrooms by the end of this month.
The main difference that it packs is the new twin 2.2 kWh batteries. These battery packs are removable, and they offer a slight increase in performance and range. The latter now stands at 187 km on full charge, while this variant can touch 90 km/h of top speed as well.
Talking of other upgrades, Hero is offering a fast 1 kW wall charger with the new 4.4 kWh variant of the Vida VX2 Plus. Earlier, the scooter was offered with a 580W wall charger. The new charger has increased the charging speed, as it now takes 3 hours and 17 minutes for 0-80 per cent charging, and 5 hours and 8 minutes for 0-100 per cent charging.
Apart from these changes, the new 4.4 kWh variant is unaltered. The styling of the scooter remains the same as earlier, as it gets a sleek body design, LED lights, a single seat, and a comfortable riding position. In terms of features, it packs a TFT console, Bluetooth connectivity, ride modes (Eco, Ride, Sport), keyless ignition, geofencing, navigation, music support, and more.
The new 4.4 kWh variant of the Vida VX2 Plus will be soon available at the showrooms, and deliveries are also expected to commence shortly.
