The latest addition of the E-Clutch to the 500cc and 750cc range of motorcycles by Honda has been made to ease the city riding fatigue. The E-Clutch, which is a trademark feature of the brand, allows clutchless gearshifts.

As per the details, the CB500 Hornet, NX500, CBR500R, CB750 Hornet, and the XL750 Transalp motorcycles have been upgraded with the E-Clutch feature in Europe. While the 500cc range remains unchanged, the 750cc motorcycles have also received additional upgrades.

The Transalp has been updated with a thicker 2.5mm aluminium bash plate as standard now. Meanwhile, it gets a revised suspension and new colourways. On the other hand, the CB750 Hornet gets a new undercowl for the E-Clutch variant and four new paint schemes.

As far as the E-Clutch is concerned, this technology uses an actuator that helps in upshifting or downshifting gears without manually pressing the clutch lever. Meanwhile, it offers three settings for various riding conditions, which include soft, medium, and hard.

Honda is expected to debut the E-Clutch technology in India next year.
