- Features a new red, white, and blue colour combination
- More expensive than the standard model
Honda has introduced a new special livery for the ADV 160 maxi scooter in Malaysia. The new colour scheme is called Trico Edition, and it is priced higher than the standard version of the scooter in Malaysia.
The Trico Edition features three colours: red, white, and blue. The front apron and the front mudguard are draped in red colour with black accents, which make it more similar to the Honda CBR1000RR-R SP. While we are not saying that it looks similar to the latter, but the new colour definitely makes it more appealing.
The side body panels feature a white stripe with a blue and red colour combination. It also features the ADV 160 stickering on the side panels. Meanwhile, the 14-inch front and 13-inch rear alloy wheels are painted in black shade, and so are the mechanical parts.
Apart from the updated colour scheme, the Trico Edition ADV 160 is similar to the standard version. It is powered by a 156.9cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, producing 16.9 bhp and 14.9 Nm. In India, this engine is E85-compliant, and it is paired with a CVT automatic gearbox.
The hardware of the ADV 160 includes a telescopic front suspension and a monoshock rear suspension. Meanwhile, the braking duties are done by a single disc brake at the front and at the rear, featuring a dual-channel ABS.
Honda has priced the ADV 160 in India at Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom). The maxi scooter is reported to be delivered from February 2027. It is being exclusively sold through the Honda BigWing showrooms in India. Indian buyers get four colour options: Brown, Blue, Silver, and Grey.
