Honda ADV160: Deliveries delayed to February 2027

As per our sources and users reporting online via various channels, Honda has pushed deliveries of the ADV160 maxi scooter to February 2027 in India. Earlier, deliveries were expected to commence before the festive season this year, but the delay has pushed the timeline further. Although Honda has not officially revealed the delivery schedule change, we believe that the brand does not want to disclose the internal delay.

New specifications revealed

Honda’s official web page for the ADV160 maxi scooter has unveiled the new specification details. Priced at Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom), the ADV160 uses an E85-compliant 156.93cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. This powertrain develops around 16 bhp of power and 14.9 Nm of torque, while being paired with a CVT automatic gearbox. The scooter weighs 137 kg, and it comes with an 8.1-litre fuel tank.

Honda has also equipped the ADV160 with its eSP+ technology, an engine idle start/stop system, and ACG silent starter system. It comes with underseat storage of 27 litres, while the list of smart features includes a 15W Type-C USB charging port, a single-channel ABS, a 14-inch front and a 13-inch rear alloy wheel, and the Honda Selectable Torque Control system.

Additionally, it gets a 5-inch coloured TFT instrument console with Honda Road Sync app connectivity, navigation support, music controls, SMS and call alerts, etc. There is also a Smart Key keyless system that enables you to lock/unlock and start the scooter without inserting a physical key.

With these details revealed, some details like the seat height, suspension, braking system, performance, etc., are yet to be disclosed by the company.
