Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has announced the prices of the Rebel 300, marking the return of the globally popular Honda cruiser in the Indian market. The motorcycle is available in two versions, with prices starting at Rs 2.22 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) for the Standard variant. The Rebel 300 E-Clutch is priced at Rs 2.62 lakh. Both prices are effective from August 25, 2026.
Bookings for the Rebel 300 are now open nationwide for Rs 5,000, through the Honda website and authorised dealerships. Deliveries are scheduled to commence from mid-October 2026.
Two variants
The Honda Rebel 300 is powered by a 286 cc liquid-cooled engine. Honda has not specified the engine’s peak power or torque figures in the official price announcement, so those figures aren’t being added here.
The motorcycle is available in two variants i.e. Standard and E-Clutch. The latter gets Honda’s E-Clutch technology, giving riders the option of clutchless gear changes while retaining the ability to manually operate the clutch when required.
Honda is positioning the Rebel 300 as an accessible entry point into its lifestyle motorcycle range, combining a low-slung bobber stance with a relaxed riding character.
Classic bobber design
The Rebel 300 gets a distinctive low-slung bobber-inspired design, with a blacked-out appearance that gives it considerably more attitude than a conventional commuter-oriented motorcycle. Honda describes the motorcycle as being aimed at riders looking for an accessible cruiser experience while retaining a distinctive design and character.
The Rebel 300 is also manufactured in India, allowing Honda to bring its global cruiser formula to a wider section of Indian buyers.
TFT display and Honda RoadSync
Despite its classic cruiser styling, the Rebel 300 gets modern technology. It features a TFT instrument display with Honda RoadSync, along with turn-by-turn navigation.
Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends, with 2-channel ABS offered as standard. The motorcycle also gets an LED projector headlamp.
The combination of the low-slung cruiser design and modern equipment makes the Rebel 300 quite different from Honda’s more conventional motorcycles in India.
