Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has officially announced the price of the ADV160, bringing its adventure-style scooter to the Indian market. Priced at Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), the ADV160 is one of the first models from Honda’s recently announced 10-product portfolio for India.
Bookings for the ADV160 are now open across the country for Rs 2,000, either through Honda’s website or authorised dealerships. Deliveries are scheduled to begin from mid-October 2026.
India’s first flex-fuel scooter
The biggest talking point about the ADV160 isn’t actually its adventure styling. It is the fuel it can run on. Honda says the ADV160 is India’s first flex-fuel scooter, with its FlexTech technology allowing it to run on fuel blends containing up to 85 percent ethanol (E85).
Power comes from a 156.93 cc liquid-cooled engine. Honda has not mentioned the engine’s peak power and torque figures in the official price announcement, so those numbers have not been added here.
Practicality
The ADV160 gets 27 litres of under-seat storage, which Honda describes as segment-leading. That should make it considerably more useful as an everyday scooter, especially for commuters who carry a fair amount of luggage.
The styling follows the adventure-scooter theme, with a rugged design intended to suit both city riding and occasional weekend escapes. Honda hasn’t just added ADV-style bodywork either. The scooter gets Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), which helps manage rear-wheel slip when traction is limited.
TFT display with connected features
The ADV160 also gets a TFT instrument display with Honda RoadSync. The connected system supports turn-by-turn navigation, giving the scooter a more premium technology package than what you typically find on conventional 150-160cc scooters.
Honda has not announced multiple variants for the ADV160 yet, so there is currently one price point. The price is ex-showroom Bengaluru and effective August 25, 2026. The scooter will be sold through both Honda RedWing and BigWing dealerships.
