Hyundai has revealed the sporty N Line spec of the Bayon crossover at the Paris Motor Show 2026. The Bayon N Line is expected to be launched in India in the coming months, and it will focus on a more ‘driver-oriented’ feel and look.
Sporty styling with N Line badges
On the outside, the N Line version of the Bayon is mostly identical to the standard model. However, the specific cosmetic tweaks have ensured that it stands out in the crowd with the sporty design elements.
For example, the fascia features the redesigned bumper with a new grille that features the N Line badge, while the LED headlights get a smoked-out appearance. The bumper also gets a sleek lip and silver elements on the lower part.
The side view is mostly retained, save for the black mirrors and the new N Line 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. At the rear, it features a new sporty bumper with a glossy lower portion and twin exhaust tips with chrome highlights.
Driver-focused cabin and new interior theme
The Bayon N Line has the same design as the standard Bayon. It is based on the top-spec Bayon; hence, it features the 12.3-inch dual curved display with sporty graphics for the digital driver display, a black theme, and a new user interface. Meanwhile, the cabin features a dark, black theme with red highlights, like the red stitching on the seats.
You can also spot the N Line embroidery on the seats and on the scuff plates. The N steering wheel is also new, with red stitching and new controls. The seats also get Alcantara-esque fabric that gives a sporty and premium feel.
Since the N Line Bayon is based on the top-spec variants, it comes with features like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, a Bose 8-speaker sound system, Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake, electric driver seat adjustment, front seats with ventilation, etc.
Gets a powerful turbocharged petrol engine
While the Indian-spec Bayon will get the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with an IVT and manual transmission options, the Euro-spec Bayon N Line will come with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine in two states of tune: 90 bhp (6-speed manual gearbox) and 115 bhp (7-speed DCT automatic gearbox).
Hyundai has also confirmed that the European market will get the 1.6-litre hybrid engine that makes 138 bhp while being paired with a 6-speed DCT gearbox. This engine will be introduced at a later stage.
Hyundai Bayon N Line could come to India soon
Hyundai is soon going to launch the Bayon in India. However, the N Line version is yet to be confirmed. With the Euro-spec N Line revealed now, we are hopeful that Hyundai will launch it in India at a later stage.
