Kawasaki has announced the latest offer for its middleweight sportsbike, the ZX-6R. The July 2026 offer for the ZX-6R includes a free steering damper from Ohlins worth Rs 83,000. This offer stands valid for all units to be sold in this month, and it will end on July 31, 2026.

Sportsbike buyers are usually baffled by the choices and wide range of accessories. However, these upgrades do come at a high cost, and that is exactly where Kawasaki is trying to help you save money. The Ohlins steering damper for the ZX-6R sportsbike costs Rs 83,000, which is definitely steep pricing. However, the latest July 2026 offer will get it for you for free.
The new offer is valid for all new ZX-6R purchases made nationwide. The biggest benefit of the steering damper is that it negates the steering vibrations that are usually produced by the jerks and x-axis and y-axis movements from the suspension. These movements continuously create vibrations, which can often lead to the steering losing control over the front tyre, and creating situations like tank slappers.
The steering damper is not only useful for track days, but it will offer a higher level of handling and more control over the curvy roads and during the high-speed sprints on the road. With that said, Kawasaki’s offer is valid until July 31, 2026, and the bike comes with no other changes.
The new ZX-6R is priced at Rs 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom), and it is equipped with a 636cc, inline-four-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that produces 124 bhp and 69 Nm of power and torque. This motor is paired to a six-speed gearbox and gets a slipper clutch as standard. Customers can also purchase a bi-directional quickshifter for more fun at an additional cost.
