Kia India has launched the Syros EV in India, with prices starting at Rs 13.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric SUV is available with two battery options and is Kia’s second made-in-India mass-market EV after the Carens Clavis EV.

The EV can be DC fast-charged from 10 to 80 percent in 39 minutes using a 100 kW charger. It also gets battery conditioning to optimise the battery temperature before fast charging.

  • Battery EMI starting at Rs 3.3 per km
  • Battery price starting from Rs 7.99 lakh under the BaaS structure
  • 15-year/unlimited-kilometre high-voltage battery warranty for the first owner

The battery warranty for subsequent owners is valid for eight years or 1.6 lakh km, whichever comes first.

Packed with features

The Syros EV gets a long list of equipment, including a segment-first 30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display Panel that combines:

  • 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster
  • 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system
  • 5-inch climate control display

Safety equipment includes a Level 2 ADAS suite with 16 autonomous functions.
