KTM RC 200 update – All details

KTM’s popular sportsbike, the RC 200, has finally received an update after a long period. The 2025 model is now loaded with a new 5-inch colour TFT screen, which supports Bluetooth smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and more connected features.

The new connected features can be accessed through the MyKTM mobile application, which enables the user to connect their smartphone to the motorcycle easily.

Additionally, the updated model gets a new black/orange paint scheme option as well. With the new updates, KTM has increased the price of the RC 200 by Rs 11,000.

Meanwhile, it continues to be powered by the 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This powerplant makes 25.4 bhp and 19.5 Nm of power and torque, respectively. The new model is now compatible with the OBD-2B emission norms.

The bike continues using the WP Apex USD forks at the front, a monoshock suspension at the rear, and a steel trellis frame chassis.

The new RC 200 sportsbike rivals the Yamaha R15 in India.

Our verdict

The newly updated RC 200 offers a much-needed update. With the new TFT screen added, the RC 200 has now become more value-for-money than ever. It now stands at par in terms of the segment’s standard features.
