To make vehicle maintenance more predictable, Maruti Suzuki India has launched the new Smart Maintenance Plan (SMP), a prepaid after-sales service package designed to reduce maintenance costs while offering customers greater flexibility in choosing service coverage.
The new programme is available across Maruti Suzuki’s extensive service network and can be purchased either at the time of vehicle delivery or later during the ownership cycle.
What is the Smart Maintenance Plan?
The Smart Maintenance Plan allows customers to prepay for future vehicle maintenance and lock in service costs for a defined period.
Maruti says customers can choose from multiple service configurations depending on their usage requirements.

One of the biggest advantages of the new plan is protection against rising service costs.
According to Maruti Suzuki, customers can save a minimum of 10 percent on labour charges while also benefiting from additional savings on parts and consumables covered under the selected package.
Since maintenance expenses are prepaid, customers are also shielded from future inflation-related increases in service pricing.
