Mercedes-Benz V-Class: What to expect?
In an interesting find, the V-Class luxury MPV was recently caught being listed on the official Mercedes website of India. The upcoming MPV was listed in its 2024 iteration, and the price mentioned was Rs 99,99,999. However, the model page led to a dead end, which was later removed from the website.
This clearly hints at a comeback of the V-Class in India. Upon its launch, the V-Class will be the sole rival to the Toyota Vellfire, which seems to be every VIP’s choice of luxury vehicle. The V-Class might come as a CBU, as the price is towards the higher end of the spectrum.
The latest generation of the V-Class is equipped with the new LED sweptback headlights, a big front grille, new LED taillights, new dual-tone alloys, and redesigned glass area.
On the inside, it features fully electric captain seats with custom entertainment and luxury packages for owners. The dashboard is loaded with a dual 12.3-inch screen display and features like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated and heated seats, and more.
Powering the new-gen V-Class is the 2.0-litre, turbo-diesel engine that is paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox. It is a front-wheel drive car that also gets a 48V mild-hybrid feature to increase the fuel efficiency.
As per our expectation, Mercedes will launch the V-Class in India before Diwali 2025.
