- Nayara reduces fuel prices in India
- Petrol is now Rs 5/litre cheaper; diesel is Rs 3/litre cheaper
- New prices come into effect nationwide from July 1
As the global tensions in the Middle East ease, crude oil prices have also started to roll back. Amid this rollback, Nayara Energy has announced big relief for motorists in India. The company has reduced the fuel prices in India from July 1, 2026, nationwide.
As per the announcement, diesel is now cheaper by Rs 3 per litre, and petrol is now cheaper by Rs 5 per litre at all the Nayara petrol pumps across the country. Recently, the government also lifted the sanctions on fuel distribution in the country after the global fuel supply returned back to normal after months of disruption caused by the US-Iran war.
With that said, the PSUs like Hindustan Petroleum, Indian Oil, etc, have not announced any relief yet. But, considering that Nayara fuel prices have been lowered, we suspect that other fuel suppliers will also cut down the prices by a similar amount soon.
