Audi India has commenced local assembly of the all-new Audi Q3 at the SAVWIPL plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. The new-generation compact luxury SUV is scheduled to launch in India on October 16, 2026, with bookings already open.
The Q3 will be locally assembled alongside other Audi models produced at the facility. Audi says the move reflects the capabilities of its local manufacturing operation and will allow the latest generation of its entry-level SUV to be produced in India while maintaining the brand’s global quality and engineering standards.
The India-spec Q3 will be powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine paired with Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system. While Audi has not disclosed the exact power and torque figures or transmission details in this announcement, the company says the combination is intended to balance dynamic performance with the practicality expected from a compact luxury SUV.
