New MY26 Kawasaki Versys-X 300 launched

Key highlights

  • Kawasaki launches MY26 Versys-X 300 at INR 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom)
  • Powered by a 296cc parallel twin engine with long-travel suspension and spoked wheels
  • Designed for real-world roads with touring-ready features and rugged styling

India Kawasaki Motors has officially launched the MY26 Versys-X 300, a lightweight adventure-tourer aimed at riders who want versatility without bulk. Priced at INR 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Versys-X 300 joins the brand’s adventure family alongside the Versys 650 and flagship Versys 1100.

This isn’t just a smaller sibling, it’s a full-fledged tourer built for Indian roads, gravel paths, and everything in between. Kawasaki says it’s designed for “Any Road, Any Time,” and the spec sheet backs that up.

Engineered for everyday exploration

At its heart is a 296cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine that produces 40 PS at 11,500 rpm and 25.7 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm. It’s paired with a 6-speed gearbox and assist & slipper clutch, making it smooth in traffic and confident on highways.

The bike rides on long-travel suspension—a 41mm telescopic fork up front and a Uni-Trak gas-charged monoshock at the rear. With 130mm front and 148mm rear travel, it’s built to soak up potholes, broken tarmac, and the occasional trail.

Adventure-ready hardware

The Versys-X 300 rolls on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels with multi-purpose tyres. Ground clearance stands at 180mm, and the rugged backbone frame is built to handle luggage, pillions, and rough terrain.

Other highlights include:

  • 17-litre fuel tank for long hauls
  • Tall windscreen for wind protection
  • Slim upright riding position with wide handlebars
  • Flat rear seat and ergonomic grab handles for pillion comfort
  • Rear carrier with built-in hooks for securing luggage
  • Stylish analog tachometer with gear indicator and LCD screen

The bike is available in a single color: Candy Lime Green/Metallic Flat Spark Black. Deliveries begin in November 2025.

Our thoughts

The Versys-X 300 is the kind of bike that makes you want to take detours just for fun. It’s light, it’s practical, and it doesn’t scream for attention, until you hit the throttle. If Kawasaki throws in a built-in espresso holder and a playlist of mountain sounds, I might just start calling it the Swiss Army knife of touring bikes.
