Skoda Auto India has announced prices for the updated Slavia, with customer deliveries set to begin next week. The refreshed sedan gets styling changes, more technology and new comfort features, while retaining the two TSI petrol engines.
The Slavia continues to be based on the MQB-A0-IN platform and is now offered in six variants: Classic, Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo.
New automatic adds another option
The biggest mechanical change is the introduction of an 8-speed torque converter automatic with the 1.0 TSI. It is claimed to be a segment-first combination. The 1.0 TSI also continues with a 6-speed manual, while the 1.5 TSI remains paired with a 7-speed DSG. The 1.5 TSI variants also get rear disc brakes.
More premium features
The facelift brings new LED headlamps and taillamps with sequential rear indicators, revised front and rear sections and new alloy wheel designs. Two new colours, Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige, have also been added, with the latter arriving in December.
Inside, the Slavia gets a segment-first rear-seat massage function, along with a 360-degree Area View camera and Park Pilot with front and rear parking sensors. Higher variants also get a 26.03cm digital cockpit.
The new 25.6cm infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also gets an AI Assistant powered by Google Cloud’s Automotive AI Agent, with Gemini-based voice assistance for functions such as music, calls and climate control.
