Everything to know about the Nissan Gravite MPV
The Gravite MPV is based on Renault-Nissan’s CMF-A+ platform. Hence, it shares the same body styling and chassis architecture as the Renault Triber. In fact, it is essentially a rebadged version of the Triber, offering subtle exterior and interior differences.
Speaking of the prices, the new Nissan MPV is available with a starting price of Rs 5.65 lakh, which is introductory. Moreover, Nissan has introduced a Launch Edition, which is limited to the first 1,001 units, featuring special tyre-marked decals and orange highlights on the exterior. Additionally, the first 5,000 buyers get zero service cost for the first five years, along with exchange and finance benefits.
The variant-wise prices of the Nissan Gravite MPV are as follows:
Speaking of the changes, it features a more streamlined front-end with new headlamps, a sleek grille with a chrome highlight, and a redesigned bumper with C-shaped silver accents. The rear also gets the redesigned taillights and a slightly tweaked bumper. On the side, it features distinct 16-inch dual-tone alloys on the top variants.
On the inside, the Gravite comes with the 5+2 seating layout, which makes it the second most affordable sub-4m MPV in India after the Triber. The interior theme features a light beige contrast with black panels, while the top-spec comes loaded with features like a 7-inch digital driver console, an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless charging, JBL sound system, dual-dashcam, air purifier, and more.
Powering the Gravite is the 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine that develops 72 bhp and 96 Nm. It is paired with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT transmission option. Nissan claims 19.3 km/l fuel economy for the manual and 19.6 km/l for the AMT version.
With that said, Nissan has also confirmed that a dual-CNG version is in the works, and it will be launched in the near future as a dealer-level-fit option.
