With the release of the latest teaser image, Nissan has not only partially revealed the front design of the Gravite MPV but also confirmed that it will be launched in India on February 17, 2026. The Gravite MPV is based on the new Renault Triber, which was also revamped not long ago.
As visible in the teaser image, the Gravite MPV will offer a more streamlined design. The front fascia has sharp LED DRLs and a set of new headlamps, a new grille with a chrome stripe and Nissan logo, while the lower bumper has C-shaped silver plastic garnishing.
The teaser car is draped in a green shade, which we believe will be the hero colour out of the other paint options. The side profile has new machine-cut alloy wheels, window rain visors, and functional roof rails.
The rear profile is also likely to offer a different set of lights, a new bumper design, and Nissan lettering, as compared to the Renault Triber. Similarly, the cabin layout and features will be identical to those of the Renault sibling car. The only changes on the inside will be the new seat fabric and Nissan branding on the steering wheel, digital console, and other critical parts.
Powering the Gravite MPV will be the 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine. It will be offered with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT automatic transmission. However, online reports suggest that a retrofit CNG option is also likely to be launched with the Gravite.
The expected launch price of the Gravite MPV is Rs 6-9 lakh.
