The Gravite three-row MPV was recently launched in India at a starting price of Rs 5.65 lakh. It is based on the Renault Triber facelift, and it offers a distinctive exterior design compared to the Triber.

The exterior design of the Gravite features a new set of LED headlights, a new front grille, a new bumper with the C-shaped silver garnish, 15-inch steel rims with dual-tone covers, and a distinctive rear bumper as compared to the Triber.

On the inside, the only difference between the two sibling cars is the Nissan badging on the steering wheel and the user interface of the touchscreen. The cabin theme is based on a dual-tone layout, while the top-spec variant features wireless charging, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, a digital driver console, and rear air-con vents.

Powering the Gravite is the Renault-sourced 1.0-litre, naturally-aspirated, three-cylinder petrol motor that develops 72 bhp and 96 Nm of power and torque. It is paired to a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT automatic gearbox.

At the launch event, Nissan had revealed that it is working on a CNG version, which will be introduced in the near future. The CNG version of the Gravite will use a retrofit CNG kit from the dealerships.
