Nissan India has released the first set of photos of its upcoming Hyundai Creta rival, called Tekton. Read everything you need to know about the 2026 Tekton below.

Nissan Tekton: Everything you need to know
The freshly revealed Tekton SUV takes its inspiration from the brand’s flagship SUV, the Nissan Patrol. The upcoming compact SUV is based on the all-new CMF-B platform, which is also shared with the next-generation Renault Duster.
As seen in the images, the Tekton looks butch and modern in every sense. On the front, it has the C-shaped connected LED lights and an illuminated logo. The lower part of the front bumper has square air dams finished in silver accents.
On the side profile, it gets squared-off wheel arches, diamond-cut multi-spoke alloys, and a C-pillar-mounted door handle design for the rear. It also gets functional roof rails and a bulge on the rear quarter design.
The rear profile is enriched with the C-shaped connected LED lights, an upright boot lid design, and a roof-mounted spoiler for an overall sporty look.
While the interiors and features remain undisclosed, a single image of the dashboard shows a tri-colour setup with golden/bronze highlights and soft-touch leather upholstery. We expect the Tekton will come loaded with all the modern bells and whistles to compete with the Hyundai Creta.
Engine specifications are also unknown for now, but diesel is not coming for sure. However, there will be an array of petrol, turbo, and hybrid engine options.
As the Tekton is a global products, and most likely it will be made in India, its pricing could be around Rs 11-20 lakh. India launch of the Tekton is expected by April 2026.
