Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Phantom: Everything you need to know
The all-new Himalayan 450 Phantom has been designed by Royal Enfield and its UK-based dealership called Cooperb Motorcycles. The Phantom is basically a bolt-on kit that offers substantial upgrades, improving its off-road capabilities by a big margin.
The Phantom package includes K-Tech or Hagon fully adjustable rear suspension, Cooperb handlebar risers, Cooperb front hose relocation kit, a front lowered mudguard, and pivot pegs. Additionally, it gets Acerbis handguards, a 23-litre plastic fuel tank, short gaiters, a chain guide, a skid plate, an X-Power engine casing, a radiator mesh guard, Royal Enfield’s Rally seat, and 18-inch wire-spoke SM Pro tube tyres with MT tread.
With that said, its 452cc liquid-cooled motor has been revamped with the HP Corse full exhaust system, a DNA induction kit, and a Fuel-X ECU fuel programmer.
The Himalayan Phantom is available in the UK at a price of GBP 10,299-12,000. It is unlikely to be launched in India, but these parts can certainly be imported from the UK, if someone wants to upgrade their Himalayan to a Rally-spec motorcycle.
