Bajaj will soon introduce the TFT screen on the entire Pulsar range. The TFT screen is something that was missing on Bajaj bikes, but the Pulsar N160 SS has introduced it now.
As per online reports and industry rumours, Bajaj will introduce the TFT digital instrument screen on all Pulsar models. However, this will happen in a phased manner over time.
The TFT instrument screen was recently introduced on the top-spec Pulsar N160 SS. This feature was missing on Bajaj bikes, which was primarily due to cost-cutting.
Bajaj is known to position its models aggressively. While the bikes are on par with the segment rivals in terms of performance and value for money, Bajaj bikes do miss out on trending features like the TFT console.
With time, even the lower-spec commuter bikes like the TVS Raider 125 have started offering the TFT console. This feature has now become more of an unsaid mandate, which customers often demand from Bajaj.
With that said, the brand has developed the TFT console for the Pulsar N160 SS. This TFT screen is likely to be fitted on the upcoming new-gen Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 bikes.
Meanwhile, the new 5-inch TFT screen on the Pulsar N160 SS offers multiple features. It not only displays the necessary information but also supports smartphone connectivity and displays live navigation (Google Maps mirroring), performance telemetry, etc.
Additionally, this TFT screen offers on-the-fly toggling for the ride modes on the Pulsar N160 SS, along with traction mode controls. We suspect that this TFT screen will display more smart features on the upcoming Pulsar models.
However, to keep the costs in check, Bajaj will most likely offer the TFT screen only on the top-spec variants. The lower variants are likely to come equipped with the current LCD console.
