Skoda Kushaq facelift launch timeline nears, what to expect?
As per the latest online reports, Skoda is planning to launch the new Kushaq facelift in the second week of January 2026. While this timeline is yet to be confirmed by the brand, we highly suspect that the Kushaq facelift will be launched early next year.
The launch timeline seems perfect for the brand as its one of the main rivals, the Kia Seltos, is soon going to receive a major update on December 10 in the form of a new generation model. Meanwhile, the Kushaq facelift will continue using the same chassis and keep offering the same space on the inside.
The list of changes on the new model will include the redesigned front and rear with a Kodiaq-like grille and new LED lights, new bumpers, and a more streamlined outlook. The side profile will bear the new 17-inch alloy wheels, but the rest of the car will remain unchanged.
On the inside, Skoda will sort the interiors with upgraded quality, an improved instrument console, a bigger infotainment screen, a new cabin theme, and probably a redesigned centre console area. However, it will be the feature list that will see the major add-ons in the form of a Level 2 ADAS safety suite and a full-size panoramic sunroof.
On the mechanical front, the facelifted Kushaq will remain unaltered. The current 1.0 TSI and the 1.5 TSI engine options will continue to be offered as it is. However, there are rumours that Skoda is developing a new DQ300 or an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox that is set to replace the unreliable DQ250 7-speed DSG gearbox by 2027.
With that said, the Kushaq facelift will witness a price hike as well due to the new features.
