Skoda Kylaq latest price hike details

As per the latest price revision, Skoda has hiked the price of Kylaq. The most affordable Skoda car in India has now become expensive from as low as Rs 4,349 to Rs 19,265. The variant-wise price hike of the Kylaq is as follows:

As mentioned above, the new price hike is more on the top-spec and mid-variants, aka Prestige and Signature, while the entry-level Classic variants have received a minor correction. Although Skoda is yet to officially announce the price hike and the reason behind it, we believe that the rising input costs and the forex exchange rates are the possible reasons.

The Kylaq is available in India with a single 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that makes 114 bhp and 178 Nm of power and torque. It is paired to a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox option.

The primary rivals of the Kylaq are Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, and Mahindra XUV 3XO.
