Tata Punch facelift: New exterior design and more features
Tata has been testing the Punch facelift for a long time now. The new Punch is expected to arrive around the festive season this year with significant design and feature updates.
The latest spy images of a test mule have emerged from Pune. The interesting thing to note in these images is the rear profile of the car, which looks heavily inspired by the new Altroz hatchback.
It is likely to get a new connected LED light setup, a new boot with a curved design, and a roof-mounted spoiler for a sporty and more streamlined outlook. Moreover, the front fascia will also witness a heavy update with a streamlined bumper and sleek LED lights.
The test mule looks more or less unchanged from the side, except for the new alloy wheels and the 360-degree camera mounts on the ORVMs. Meanwhile, the cabin is overhauled with the addition of the new two-spoke steering wheel and a new digital console and beige/black leather upholstery.
Tata is likely to offer Level 1 ADAS features on the Punch facelift, including the Blind Spot Assist, Front Collision Assist, etc. Mechanically, the Punch facelift will remain unchanged. The prices will be higher than the current model due to the new features.
