India’s one of the leading helmet manufacturers, Studds, has introduced a new Helios model, called Helios Effect. Available at Rs 3,445, the ‘Effect’ is basically a range-topping Helios model, but it packs special graphics and colours.

Visually, the Helios Effect comes with polygonal graphics that are matched with the black and grey contrasts. There are six colour options to choose from, including Black and Chameleon Blue, Black Grey and Red, Black White and Red, Black and Red with Metallic Foil, Black Blue with White, and Black and Grey. Customers get three size options: Medium (57cm), Large (58cm), and Extra-Large (60cm).
In terms of design and safety, it packs the same features as the other Helios models. It weighs 1,400 grams, which makes it manageable for everyday use. The shell of the helmet is made out of high-impact ABS, and it has an aerodynamic spoiler and a dual-visor setup.
Studds has also equipped the Helios Effect with its trademark AntiFog100 Lens. This tech basically claims to remove the fog from the visor within 100 seconds, irrespective of the conditions. The inner padding is comfort-oriented, and it gets thorough ventilation as well via the dedicated air vents. The padding is hypoallergenic as well, and it is washable too.
Other features of this helmet include spectacle-friendly padding, speaker pockets for intercom devices, and a quick-release chin strap. The Helios Effect is now available through the offline Studd authorised stores and dealerships, and it will soon be listed online as well.
