Suzuki GSX-S1000GX Plus and Top variants – What’s new?
The latest update of the litre-class sports-tourer of Suzuki in Europe has brought new trims. The two new variants, called Plus and Top, offer marginal upgrades to make the motorcycle more engaging and comfortable to ride.
Starting with the Plus variant, it offers body colour-matched luggage boxes that offer more utility and practicality for long-distance riders. Meanwhile, the Top variant offers a side stand, an Akrapovic exhaust system, and the twin luggage carriers as standard. With these changes, the Top variant is now positioned as the most loaded version of the motorcycle.
Powering the Suzuki GSX-S1000GX is a 999cc inline-four cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that develops 150 bhp of peak power and 106 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper-assist clutch with an optional bi-directional quickshifter.
In terms of features, the sports-tourer is loaded with LED lights, a TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, a six-axis IMU offering cornering ABS, traction modes, ride modes, and other advanced ride-improving features.
Suzuki is expected to bring the GSX-S1000GX in India later this year.
