Tata has been among the top public charging service providers in India. The Pune-based company has emerged as a large EV charging support system by signing MoUs with different vendors to spread its operations across the country.
The latest announcement from the brand states that it has successfully installed 25,000 public chargers in 150 different cities. These locations include the tier-1 and tier-2 cities like New Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and more.
As per the company, these chargers are located at accessible places, including the transport hubs and various transport operators who use the Tata electric small commercial vehicles like the Ace EV.
However, to expand the EV infrastructure further and to ensure more peace of mind for its customers, Tata has now signed 13 more MoUs with new vendors, including Charge Zone, Electric Fuel, EV Spot Charge, Kazam, and more.
The aim is to install 25,000 new public chargers in the next 12 months. Additionally, the locations and charging availability will be extended further to ease the customer experience.
