Everything to know about the Tata Sierra EV
Tata has recently launched the Punch EV facelift, and the brand also confirmed that its next launch is going to be the Sierra EV, which will happen in the first quarter of FY2027. This means that the new EV will launch between April 2026 and June 2026.
Mind you, the Sierra EV was teased earlier, where its front design was shown with a cleaner look and less use of the black highlights, something that is more evident on the current Sierra ICE model. The Sierra EV is likely to share its powertrain option with the Harrier EV, and it will also be offered in an AWD avatar.
We suspect that the Sierra EV will feature the subtle cosmetic changes to differentiate it from the ICE model, a design layout that is used for all the other EV models of the brand. On the inside, it will feature a light dual-tone theme with more features, possibly including Boss Mode, a bigger infotainment console, and more.
While the details regarding its battery capacity are unknown, we can safely assume that it will offer a maximum range of around 450-500 km. With that said, its launch price is suspected to be around Rs 20-25 lakh, and it will compete with the newly launched Maruti Suzuki e Vitara.
