Tata Motors has successfully sold 50,000 units of the Sierra within months of its launch in India. On achieving this milestone, Tata has launched a new Jubilee Edition of the Sierra, which is essentially a kitted-up version of the SUV.
Tata Sierra Jubilee Edition: What makes it special?
The new Sierra Jubilee Edition is based on the Adventure, Smart+, and Pure variants. These variants get select accessories from the Sierra ROQ range and also add a few more features compared to their respective standard variants.
The Smart+ Jubilee Edition variant is available from a starting price of Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This variant gets new features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment console with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a rear-view camera, functional roof rails, a four-speaker audio system, and leather upholstery. It also gets a front grille garnish and a tailgate cladding.
Moving on, the Pure variant Jubilee Edition is available from Rs 13.39 lakh (ex-showroom). It offers add-ons like wheel arch cladding, roof rails, front grill add-on, a tailgate cladding, leather upholstery, leather steering wheel cover, dash cam for front and rear, a parcel tray, and magnetic sunshades.
Meanwhile, the Adventure variant with Jubilee Edition packaging will cost you from Rs 16.19 lakh (ex-showroom). It gets the complete ROQ kit along with front and rear dashcams.
With that said, these variants are also available without the Jubilee Edition package. However, paying a little over the standard variants will yield you more factory-fitted features. We think the Jubilee Edition is a thoughtful addition to the Sierra variants.
All of these variants can be brought with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated and a turbo petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine. All of the powertrains are offered with a 6-speed manual, a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
