In terms of features, the Sierra is a well-equipped SUV. It gets some segment-first features, which include the augmented reality HUD, triple screen setup, Boss mode, electric seats with memory feature and ventilation, two-step reclining rear seats, and a massive boot space of 622L. However, it is its base variant that gets loads of features as standard, which the Victoris misses out on. These are as follows:
Price
Tata is yet to announce the complete price list of the Sierra. But, its base variant has been positioned attractively at Rs 11.49 lakh. Meanwhile, the Victoris base variant is nearly a lakh cheaper than the Sierra, as it starts from Rs 10.50 lakh.
Our verdict
The Sierra is a new entry in the mid-size SUV segment in India. It offers a broad choice of variants, which are well-equipped with modern features, and has various engine options as per everyone’s taste and requirement.
Meanwhile, the Victoris is based on the reliable and durable Japanese technology, and it offers class-leading efficiency and good performance for everyday use. It might not be as well-equipped as the Sierra, but its top-spec variants offer every standard of modern tech and safety.
