Honda Square X125 scooter: What is special?
Unveiled at the 2025 CIMA Motor Show, the new Square X125 scooter is the newest invention of Sundiro and Honda. This new modular and utility-friendly scooter features a unique tallboy design with a foldable pillion seat that acts as a parcel tray rack as well.
Visually, the scooter has rectangular design elements, including the twin-pod LED headlamps and an upright and relaxed handlebar design. Meanwhile, it also gets a foldable side tray that can be utilised while camping or off-roading.
In terms of hardware, it is loaded with a telescopic front suspension with fork gaiters and dual shockers at the rear. The black 12-inch alloy wheels have benefited from disc brakes and a single-channel ABS.
Powering the Square X125 is Honda’s eSP+ engine, which is also used on the Honda SP 125 bike. This air-cooled unit offers 10.72 bhp and 10.9 Nm of peak torque. Although Sundiro Honda is yet to unveil its exact power figures, we know that it is mated to a CVT gearbox.
At the expo, Sundiro Honda also showcased multiple modified iterations of the Square X125 with accessories that included touring panniers, off-road and camping stuff, and more.
While Honda will launch the Square X125 in China and other international markets next year, it is highly unlikely to come to India.
