Toyota Innova Hycross facelift: Interior updates
The new sighting of the Innova Hycross facelift test mule has surfaced online. What we could judge from the new spy shots is that the MPV is likely to get a mild cosmetic enhancement, and probably new features with an updated interior to keep it worth it for new customers.
The heavily camouflaged test car has a set of new, sleek LED headlights, new alloy wheels, a set of new LED taillights, and revised bumpers. Additionally, the new model could get a new grille and a profile update similar to the upcoming Hilux. All these changes will position the Innova Hycross in line with Toyota’s global design language.
The most interesting bit about the new spy shots is the interior photo. While it is not a very clear or detailed one, the faint glimpse of the dashboard from the side shows a new, massive floating infotainment screen. Judging by its size, we suspect it would be somewhere around 12-inch, and it will probably feature a new user interface, smoother graphics, and more wireless features.
Assuming that Toyota is known to give its models a thorough update, this first update for the Innova Hycross could bring along new leather upholstery, a new interior theme, and more comfort-oriented features, probably including the rear ventilated seats with electric adjustment or so.
Mechanically, there won’t be any changes. But since the E20 petrol notion is going strong, Toyota could add an E85-compliant engine option on the new facelifted MPV. However, it is still out assumption, and the safest thing to assume is that it will probably remain technically unaltered.
Speaking of the launch timeline, Toyota could introduce the new Innova Hycross facelift in in 2027.
