Triumph 350cc prices hiked: Here’s why

The consistently rising input costs, weakening foreign exchange rates, and rising fuel costs have eventually pushed Bajaj to roll out the revised price list for the Triumph 350cc models. While the whole point of downsizing the 399cc engine to 350cc was to garner the benefits of the GST 2.0 slabs and offer aggressive pricing to the buyers, this price hike says otherwise.

Speaking of the details, the least price correction is seen on the Speed 400, which has now become expensive by Rs 2,000. Meanwhile, the most popular Speed T4 is now expensive by Rs 4,000. On the other hand, the Thruxton 400 and Scrambler 400 XC models have undergone the maximum price correction of Rs 5,000 on their sticker price. However, the Scrambler 400 and Tracker 400’s new prices are yet to be announced.

Also, do not get confused with the ‘400’ nameplate on the 350cc models. Triumph says it did it intentionally to keep the brand value alive, and to provide a premium buying feel to the buyers.
