TVS Apache RTX 300 waiting period extends – Superhit already?
A latest online report has revealed that the Apache RTX adventure motorcycle is currently available with a waiting period of 3 months, or even more in some cases. This comes after the fact that the RTX was launched 5 months ago, and the Chennai-based brand is still struggling to deliver the motorcycles to the owners on time.
However, the situation is not as bad as it appears. As per the report, TVS has an ATS or automated system that sequentially aligns the bookings coming from any part of the nation. This means that no unfair delivery is made to any customer who has booked the bike after the initial pending orders. However, the slow delivery process is leading to the orders getting piled up, and TVS is trying to cover it up as soon as possible.
Speaking of the RTX, it was launched at an aggressive price of Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is powered by a new 299.1cc liquid-cooled motor that offers 35.5bhp and 28.5Nm, and it is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Such a powerful engine is accentuated with top-notch features like LED projector dual-pod headlights, cruise control, ride modes, traction control, navigation, music, and more.
With all these features, the RTX 300 is in high demand nationwide. It rivals the Suzuki V-Strom 250 and the Hero Xpulse 210 to an extent.
