What to expect from the TVS Tanget RR?

The latest patent by TVS is of the production-spec model of a new sportsbike that is based on the Tanget RR concept model. It is likely to be the next flagship model of the brand, and it is expected to be called Apache RR 450.

The design patent images showcase a sharp and aggressive design language with a V-shaped front fascia that has aerodynamic, sharp edges and LED lights. The windscreen design is somewhat similar to the smaller Apache RR 310.

Other interesting design details include the raised tail section with a wing integrated on the top. The taillight is a sharp single LED streak, which is accentuated by the fat rear tyre and the monoshock suspension.

It is the most loaded motorcycle of the brand as it features the twin front disc brakes, USD front forks with adjustability, and a parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, which is expected to be the 450cc unit sourced from the BMW F 450 GS.

Since not much is known regarding this unnamed motorcycle, if our assumptions are correct, it might hit the road by next year. Recently, a completely covered test mule of a parallel-twin sportsbike was spied near TVS’ plant, which hinted at the BMW G450R in the making.

The Apache RR 450, if it is named so, will also follow the same design and engine specs as the BMW sibling. However, this project is led by BMW, and we can safely assume that the BMW’s 450cc twin will see the light first, later followed by the TVS.
