Skoda Kodiaq RS coming soon – What to expect?
Skoda recently showcased the Kodiaq RS, a sporty version of the Kodiaq, at the Kushaq facelift launch event. The company also confirmed that it will launch the Kodiaq RS in June 2026.
Speaking of the changes, the Kodiaq RS is not just a mere cosmetically improved car, but it also offers more punch and performance. Powering the Kodiaq RS is the same 2.0 TSI engine as the current version, but it makes 261 bhp and 400 Nm, which is 61 bhp and 80 Nm more than the standard version.
Additionally, it features the typical RS body design. The Kodiaq RS is expected to be offered in staggering colours like red, nardo grey, etc, which are matched to the new bumpers with aggressive design and big air intakes, a new gloss black grille with RS badge, new dual-tone alloy wheels with low profile tyres, and a new rear bumper with RS lettering on the boot and side fenders.
While Skoda did not unveil its interiors, the international-spec model gets an all-black leather upholstery with sporty elements like aluminium pedals, RS badge on the seats, steering wheel, floor mats, and door sills, red stitching on the seats, dashboard, and door panels, a new three-spoke steering wheel, and Alcantara leather touch on the doors and dashboard.
With that said, we believe that the Kodiaq RS will be launched as a CBU model, and it will come in limited numbers like the Octavia RS. It could be priced well above Rs 45 lakh.
