The latest update from VinFast has landed in the form of new colour palettes for the VF6 and VF7 EVs. The Vietnamese electric car manufacturer is still in the initial phase of its Indian journey, and the brand has now rolled out the first update for its models.
As far as the details are concerned, both VF6 and VF7 now feature darker hues, which align better with the company’s future portfolio and branding theme. The Crimson Red and Urban Mint colour options have been discontinued and replaced with the all-new Solar Red and Ivy Green colours, respectively.
While these new colour shades offer a darker hue, they keep the essence of the outgoing colours as it is. Meanwhile, VinFast has also added a new, seventh colour option for both models. It is called Moonlight Ocean, and it will be available for both EVs. The rest of the colour options have been carried over as is.
Speaking of the other changes, VinFast has kept this update restricted to the colour upgrades only. Both models continue featuring the same design and specifications as before.
The VF6 is the entry point in VinFast’s India lineup. The crossover electric SUV features a 59.6 kWh battery with FWD, offering 174 bhp in the lower variants and 201 bhp in the top variants. It offers a claimed range of 468 km, and it competes with the MG Windsor, Maruti e Vitara, and Hyundai Creta Electric.
Meanwhile, the bigger VF7 comes equipped with a 59.6 kWh battery pack and a bigger 70 kWh battery pack. The latter offers a claimed range of up to 532 km while offering an all-wheel-drive configuration. The VF7 competes with the recently launched Tata Sierra EV.
