While the FY2023 was Taigun’s best fiscal year till now, the sales of the mid-size SUV dipped in the following years. In FY2026, Taigun reported a dip of up to 35.14 percent in YoY sales, which indicated that the brand needed to work on improvements and feedback.
Following this, the new Taigun facelift was introduced by mid-2026. The new model brought a design and cabin refresh. On the outside, it packed a set of new LED headlamps, a sleeker front grille, a streamlined front bumper, new alloy wheels, and a new rear bumper.
Meanwhile, the cabin received a new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a new central infotainment screen with a new UI. Moreover, the cabin now packs improved features like a panoramic sunroof, ambient LED lights, and more.
Under the bonnet, the Taigun facelift continues to offer the 1.0 TSI and the 1.5 TSI engine options. However, the 1.0 TSI now packs an all-new 8-speed AT gearbox, which replaces the outgoing 6-speed AT gearbox.
With that said, the Taigun facelift has witnessed an improvement in sales. For FY2027, the SUV has witnessed a rise of 3.94 percent in sales.
